Currently the T54GP is semi-disassembled to facilitate the engine's mechanical restoration. The specifics of its status are explained in more detail below. As an overview, the vehicle is complete and includes all necessary parts and hardware for reassembly. The car's chassis and associated systems are mechanically sound, but again, semi-disassembled. The T54GP's bodywork is complete and finished in red as shown in the gallery photos, but is largely removed from the car. In short, the engine is assembled with the valves and rotating assembly installed, but the timing case, water pump and supercharger need installation, as do their drives.
